If you live in a city or town that doesn’t have roads smooth roads, traffic free lanes or cycling paths then commuting with a scooter can be dangerous and not practical.
Also an average electric scooter has a maximum range of 15-20 miles. If your workplace is outside this range then a car, motorbike or a bicycle is a more practical option.
Another reason why you shouldn’t buy an electric scooter is because it reinforces a sedentary lifestyle. The vast majority of people don’t get enough physical activity and using an electric folding bike or scooter to commute does not help. For health reasons a bicycle is a healthier option.
