Black Label E90 Review - Razor Electric Scooter for 8 Year Old
The Razor Black Label E90 is a very popular kids electric scooter for several reasons. The 90 Watt high torque and maintenance-free hub motor has Power Core technology. This makes the motor very reliable and maintenance free.
The top speed of 10 mph or 16 km/ that the 90 Watt motor reaches is more than enough for an 8 year old. This is about 3-times walking speed so it goes quite fast for such a small scooter.
The 12 V battery can produce 40-minutes of continuous use when fully charged. When taking into account small stops and brakes, then kids can easily have 1-2 hours of fun with this scooter. The charging time of 12 hours is a bit long but it is what it is.
The E90 kids electric scooter is also safe and stable to ride for kids. The scooter has rear-wheel drive, which makes the rear of the scooter heavier, and this in turn improves traction and steering stability.
The deck is made of steel, which makes it stable and sturdy. The full-deck anti-slip grip tape makes the deck more grippy. Due to the poked, urethane front wheel and an airless, flat-free rear tire, there is no need to worry about flats.
It is also crucial to keep in mind the maximum rider weight, which is 120 pounds. You don't want to go over this limit and if your child is at this weight or over then it would be wise to choose another scooter that can handle a heavier rider.
The thumb activated throttle and rear-fender brake are fairly easy to operate. It might take a bit of practice to get the hang of it. The scooter comes in two color types: black/green and black/pink.
The weight of the scooter itself is a light 18.76 pounds, which makes it light enough even for 8 year old kids.
Black Label E90 Pros and Cons
Razor Electric Scooter for 8 Year Old's
Conclusion:
The E90 Razor electric scooter for 8 year old's and older kids is a real fun scooter. It is surprisingly sturdy, easy to ride for kids and has plenty of power and speed. Although the weight limit is 120 pounds then heavier kids can also ride it without much problems.
It doesn't have many serious drawbacks like many other similar scooters have. The battery could always last a bit longer and the charging time could be quicker.
The only real issue is that the E90 electric scooter seems to sell out very quickly. It seems to be out of stock most of the time, So if you really want this kids electric scooter then you need to buy it fast when it's on stock.

Awesome for the Kids!

My kids have been bugging me for a scooter like the other kids on our block have. The Razor Black Label E90 did not disappoint!! My kids love it! The neighbor kids love it! We have 3 kids and will be buying 2 more so they don't have to fight over whose turn it is next. It definitely lived up to the hype!

So much fun!

This was the easiest, coolest scooter to set up! My daughter absolutely loves it! Right out of the box, you charge it for several hours and you're ready to ROLL! No assembly required. The charger is small and compact. The Razor folds down for super easy travel and it's not difficult at all. The size is quite big for your child to stand on. The brake is at the back and the "go" button is on the handles. This is an absolute dream for kids. It doesn't go super fast (good, in my opinion!). Honestly I'm so happy with this that I would buy another one in a different color. Well worth the money!
